inpress:: How to bind our publication

Now that we have both the front covers and inside pages printed, we are now considering how to bind the pages together. We were initially thinking just a simple Japanese bind, but after feedback from peers this was considered a time consuming process.

It was then suggested to us that we could leave it loose/ paperclip the pages. or staple them in place. However, we thought the pages would potentially get lost if we left them loose or used paperclips and it was pointed out to us that if we used a staple then it would go against using the recycled paper.

So, we tried them out and decided that a simple bind would look best, although it may be time consuming, it would be worth it. After all, we had put a lot of effort into them up until now so it would be silly to ruin the look of them at this late stage.
