Applying typeface to web

As I cannot work out which typeface is going to be best to use, I have applied a serif and sans serif typeface to existing websites just to see how they would work in context and which works best.

I think the sans serif typeface is still working better than the serif typeface purely due to the audience I am targeting the clothing shop at. I think a serif typeface would be suited if the clothing shop were to be targeted at a slightly older audience.
